Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

This soup warms the SOUL! This is definitely my "go to" meal especially on dreary rainy days or when someone is sick in the house because it's so comforting. I must also add that it is super easy to make! My mother in law taught me and I am soooo glad she did! The recipe doesn't have exact amounts, just do what YOU want. You like a lot of carrots? Then add a lot of carrots! You don't like peas? Then don't put peas in it! This is just an outline to follow!

2 quarts water
chicken bouillon
chopped carrots
chopped celery
chopped onion
pepper (to desired taste)

Put all of the ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil and cook for about an hour or until veggies are soft.

Bake chicken and shred to put in the soup.

2 cups flour
3 egg yolks
1 egg
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup water

mix and knead ingredients together to make the dough. put plenty of flour on your counter to prevent sticking to roll out the dough and cut into "noodle" shapes.

Put the cooked chicken and noodles in liquid and let cook for 5 min.
